Real Man Of Genius!

The New England Patriots head coach made one of the gutsiest decision’s I’ve ever seen in a game of that magnitude.

And though it failed, going for it on 4th and 2, from his own 28 with 2 1/2 minutes to play… and a 6 point lead… was the absolute right decision.

Play to WIN!!!

Bob Sanders IS A BUST!

Bob Sanders Bicept

Let’s see, it’s the middle of another football season, the Colts are off to another great start, and par for the course, they’ve been doing it without their “would be” stud Saftey Bob Sanders. I call him a “would be” stud because he simply doesn’t play enough to be considered a true game changer. Since being drafted 6 years ago, Sanders has only twice played the majority of regular season games (14 in 2005 and 15 in 2007). His other seasons were cut short by injury… and this year has been no different.

After sitting out the first 5 weeks of 2009, Sanders returned for two games, but… you guessed it… he has now been lost for the remainder of the year. Having suffered ankle and knee injuries in the past, a torn bicep tendon is culprit this time around.

Bottom line, Bob Sanders is a bust. He is one of the most talented players around and is more fearless than almost everyone else in the National Football League. But sadly, that fearlessness is what makes him both potentially great, and a complete disappointment. The reality is he can’t play a full season any more, and likely never will again. Thus the Colts are getting little return on their investment, $20 million of which is guaranteed. Ouch!

I don’t know about you, but in my book, that’s a BUST!
